JDM Appreciation Thread

Felt like I need to share this here. Come on... this man is an absolute legend. I don't think anyone went this fast on the UK motorway. Also, I've not seen much on any JDM related threads on TSR. So, i thought i'd start one maybe? lol anyone here interested into JDM culture?

nice to meet you i'm new to this.
Yeah FD RX7 ftw!! I very fascinated in the complexity of the RX7 and its Rotary engine.
My favourite JDM cars are...
R32 Skyline GTR, Ae86 (initial d!!) and probably the 350z (because vq35 life)

It's my dream car! :biggrin: indeed me too! I'm amazed that the rotary only has 3 moving parts! Incredible!
Hopefully getting an RX8 as my second car too! :biggrin:

1.R32
2.AE86
3. 350z
However my answers fluctuate all the time lol. The R32 will always be my favourite JDM car.

Nothing JDM haha!
As a first car I got a Fiat Grande Punto 1.2. It's cheap to run but really has no power at all!
Can't wait until May next year when I can upgrade! :biggrin:

My favorite JDM car is as @FireFreezer77 said, the GTR (BNR32 in particular) and also the S30z (Wangan Midnight and Tokyo Xtreme Racer influenced me alot :colone::colone:)

I saw a video about some Japanese drifters trying out some tuned RX8's (2 of them and a stock one)
One of them had a turbo and suspension/brake upgrades and was a super handling car with decent power!
I'd like to have something similar to that really!
But I wanna save up for an FD RX7 so Ill probably leave it stock

RX8 already have a decent amount of power. it's just a matter of having the right suspensions (Coil-overs maybe?) and overall weight and brakes. But they'll probably will cost quite a lot. Probably more than what the cars worth, I think. FD RX7 can go around 10K, so not too expensive. But I think I prefer the FC. Particularly, this one :
