Tesco's to fine people who park in disabled bays

About time really fining people who are not disabled who do park in a disabled bay

About time! There aren't all that many disabled spaces at my nearest Tesco, and people without badges always use them. Hopefully this'll deter a lot of them, and those that still do it will be punished
Maybe as well as a disabled badge, disabled drivers could have this electronic tag fitted underneath their cars that matches with disabled parking spots. If an able user car tries to park over it, an alarm is raised(?).

Could save valuable time and money.

But disabled people use taxis or get lifts from friends etc. A disabled badge is easy to transfer from one vehicle to another. Your idea wouldn't be, so essentially you're limiting what disabled people can do

And if you don't drive and are disabled, then what?

Ok... Ok...

Maybe disabled people are handed an electronic device of some such that would allow them to park in disabled bays AND those who chose to be driven by taxis and/or friends and family?

I don't think the badge is as visible as it once was.
It's all well and good fining them. But I'd wager that if they're wrongly parking in disabled bays, they'll know that fines from private firms have absolutely no legal standing, and they'll get away scott free because these private parking firm wont chase people up in court.
