Are scholarships rare in LSE for international students?

Hi,
I'm interested in development studies and I want to
work in international organizations.
I'm an international student and I'm curious about
scholarships in British universities(postgraduate)
I'm interested in LSE, but it would be great if
somebody could give advice about scholarships in
Britain all together. I heard there aren't a lot
for international students except the commomwealth countries
(is it true?) but I'm from Asia so....:frown:
Is it true about scholarships rare for international students?

Thanks

Where are you from? Some local company will sponsor student to study overseas. Some even include your living allowance, plane tickets, accommodation and so on. Just google for it

Try some external scholarships. They are often provided by commercial companies, but available for international students. Basically if you win the scholarship they give you money for education wherever you want.
Just recently I searched for some, and here's a couple of good I found: Aim For Stars, UK Writings Contest, FormsBirds Scholarship, EssayRoo Scholarship, Video Scholarship Program.

Anyway search "External Scholarship" pages of unis to find them:

etc.

Most people here with scholarships have them from governmental ministries from their home countries (Hong Kong and Singapore in particular). The only guy I've met who's a Home student and has one from LSE (not a company/government) came from pretty terrible circumstances and had fairly impressive grades, all things considered. I personally didn't find LSE's undergrad scholarships to be that generous compared to those at King's, but that may just be my course.

thanks a lot, the undergrads didn't seem that generous as i googled it but graduates seem better(hope so)
