The poll is a bit stupid since it's a choice between death and going to a first world country.

What the Syrians should do is call for NATO occupation while riding it out from the neighboring safe countries.

Why not have an option for those brave Syrians, who did the following;

1. Stay home, live or die.

2. Become refugues in neighbouring countries (i.e Jordan, camp Zataari, hosts over 81,000 Syrians)

Join the Kurds in Rojava, not only have they been succesful fighting of ISIS they have put up with total crap from government and Turkish forces and have a reasonably functional libertarian socialist governence. Sounds pretty good to me.

let me share a little story. my dad has a friend whos Syrian, although he now lives in the UK his family and his wife's family lives in Damascus. So his wife and him came to our house for a BBQ and she told us that her brothers wife's brother was in his 20's. he was travelling somewhere and got stopped and they questioned him about why he hasnt joined the army to fight ISIS. He didnt want to fight so said he had a year left in university so they tortured him and made him fight ISIS. a week later, his wife got his body back, his head was decapitated.

so i dont think people want to go and fight ISIS bc they will get killed regardless of if they're Sunni or not. ISIS will just see them as traitors.

Be real, I'd rather head for Calais but that doesn't mean I'll be like one of those stone-throwing idiots, far better ways to go than that...

Pick a side and fight rather than running off to Calais where ISIS members can put rags on and follow them. You can almost guarantee that there is some ISIS member followed the migrants through Europe and are trying to get to the UK it is just so they can get into European countries and then radicalise our crop and then it will cause problems as there will be armies of them in the west- they are devoted to our destruction
