It went great for me. The paper was pretty short, 10 questions only. The question on binomial expansion was a bit surprising.

1) for the first ans, ( equation of the curve ) c= -7 2)tan 2x = 3 , x=-54.2 , 35.8 for the other trigonometry , x= 7/12 pie , 11/12 pie 3) for the AP : i) 15th day = 130km ii) on 20th may for the gp i) r = 1/2 , a=16 ii) sum to infinity =30 4) for the binomial, n=6 , coefficient x^2 = 5.25 or 21/4
guys i forgot to write the number of the question i answered , will i get any marks ?

Don't worry you will get marks for getting correct answers, they will only reduce few marks for penalty...
Can someone explain the Binomial question to me? :smile: so annoyed to drain 6 marks like that. Usually find them so simple but this one..... naaahhh.

It's difficult to explain on here.

For the coefficient of x you get:

(n:1)*(x/2)*(1)^(n-1)*3
(n:0)*(x/2)*(1)^n*(-2x)

(n:1) and (n:0) represent the factorial formula

You no that (n:1) has to be n (you can check with calculator)
You also know that (n:0) is 1.

Add both formulas and say it's equal to 7 (I think it was 7)
You should get n=6
