York, definitely. York's Biology and Chemistry departments are much stronger than Bristol's counterparts. Compare national rankings and Key Information Sets for each course at each uni and you'll understand. BTW before someone says rankings are meaningless, obviously there is a degree of arbitrariness but they take into account mostly useful stats.
