Loss is a bad grade instead of a good grade in a very important subject.
Cannot apppy for unis and jobs without presenting mitigatinng circa.
Have to take exam again, interfering with summer, and other subjects, stress and a lot of distress,
More importantly, not one phone call from the school.

what is the loss , what is the quantum ?

if you cannot answer that question you chances of a successful legal action are zero

Can't change a grade after a final grade has been awarded with this board.
In fact the correct grade was entered on the sub otted mark sheet, but because the box was not inticked, the new coursework grade was not included.
Do you think exams officers should be trained, qualified, experienced?
It was a mistake, just apply (? is that what you do) for mitigating circumstances.

There is no box on UCAS for mitigating circumstances.
And apparently, according to the jnismwe called, everyone's has a mitigating circumstance. This is also not of themstudrnts creation, and had to be evidenced by the school. Although ad irreducible by the school, as time has passed and they see the implications, they have downplayed their error.
For the unis and courses in quation, they bin applications on arrival if they do not meet the basic requirements. Who can blame them with thousands of applicants, they don't need to waste their resources on this.
On uni told us to wait a year then applying after the higher grade was in hand.
That is a year wasted and a year of expense and not moving on.
