The first thing to do is the calculate the concentrations of the components after mixing (the new volume is 35 ml)

How?
(0.05+0.02)=0.07 conc.

Do I need to get the moles?

You can work it out using the moles or you can use simple proportions.

15cm3 of 0.05 mol dm-3 A is mixed with 20 cm3 of 0.02 moles dm-3 B

The new concentration of A is 0.05 x 15/35 = 0.0214 mol dm-3

The new concentration of B is 0.02 x 20/35 = 0.0114 mol dm-3

Now plug into the rate equation ...

Thank you 😊
