Anyone who has heard of the inbetweeners knows the whole thing has many references to sex... its like its thing...and insight if you may say...

Its stupid. Its not even funny. I was watching it with my parents and my dad got up and said 'that is absolutely disgusting' and stormed out of the room. He was so angry he started smashing the house up.

I am not a virgin. I've has sex hundreds of times from models all around the world. Maybe thats why I don't find this pathetic talk funny.

It's exaggerated but hilarious. Laptop w***** 😃

Thats another thing. The way the show makes it look like that it is cool to shout insults at strangers who are minding their own business is a disgrace. There is nothing funny about bullying- NOTHING.

The reason why it was so popular is because it was so relatable. You've obviously got all the lads trying to lose their virginity but you've also got relationship issues, parental seperation, bullying, banter between friends, trying to pass your driving test, the intimidating teachers, trying to pretend you're 18 and all the social awkwardness that happens at that age, when you don't really know what you're doing or where your life is going.

Obviously some of it is exaggerated for comedic value, but the first season n particular is a very accurate representation of what it's like being a 16 year old boy starting sixth form.

The characters are all very relatable as well. We all knew someone at college like Jay who exaggerated everything and obsessed about sex, we all knew a Neil who isn't the quickest of cats at the best of times, and we definitely all knew a Simon and a Will.

I must have seen every episode 20 times by now but I still find it funny.

If every teenage boy really is a sex pest then this generation is doomed.

Did you just make one of those stupid sex jokes? Is that meant to be funny? You sound just like those losers on the inbetweeners.

A lot of people who've never had sex seem to never shut up about it.

This is so accurate.

Where did I say that? I am by no means a "sexual" person and that doesn't stop me finding the show funny.

If you don't like it don't watch it.

Because pretty much every teenage boy talks about sex at one point. You clearly don't have the maturity or the humour to see the funny side of it.

When I was a teenage boy i didn't talk about sex 24/7. And in no way would i insult my good friends family members and talk about how much I like to **** them. What an absolutely vile thing to say

yeah its realism sadly, boys that age only ever talk about sex

reminds me of my days at school and college, the amount of times i had to hear a bunch of little boys - who were clearly still virgins - have repetitive conversations about how many girls they apparently slept with... no one even said one or none, it was always 'yeah about 50, about 100... yeah yesterday i had a threesome with two girls' and all the other boys sat around genuinely believing it. i'm guessing its a male thing i will never understand

You sound like Jay lol
I thought it was an excellent comedy and so did my teenage son. We used to watch it together and have a laugh. OP clearly has no sense of humour or is a member of a certain religion that gets offended by things like this.

Jeez it's a comedy, chill out. I can't watch Miranda as I find it too cringey and awkward but I don't throw my laptop across the room because it annoys me

Its not a comedy at all it is an absolute horror. Some of the things they said nearly made me faint.

Seriously? :colonhash:

Also, it's also a correct example of real-life. A lot of people who've never had sex seem to never shut up about it.

She is a rather fitting beauty- i give you that.

However I would never go as far as talk about how I would **** her to my good friends. I have no dirty thoughts at all entering my mind. And even if I did- those thoughts would stay and die in my mind when they belong.

I was watching the inbetweeners and it just made my blood boil the amount of time the dialogue was about sex. I got so angry during one point that i threw my laptop across the room in a rage and punched a wall.

And people think this **** is funny? Seriously our generation is ****ed.
You realise watching it is optional...?

How would you like it if boys talked about you like they do in the inbetweeners?
Original post by bbet
The way they were talking was absolutely disgusting. Seriously if someone spoke about my mum or dad like that they would be getting put into an earlier grave. I am serious mate- I don't give a ****.

I shagged your mum in the Tower of London. Come at me bro.
