CIE level 1 / Level 2 English as first language (0522) ... is it accepted by uni

Hi guys , in school I done a CIE Level 1 / level 2 certificate in English as first language(syllabus 0522) and have obtained a grade C. On UCAS it comes up as a ofqual regulated IGCSE.

My question is, would Universities consider this the same as GCSE English? I have checked their website and all it says is GCSE English and maths grade C. So will I be alright ????

Also if anyone has done this qualification, was it an issue when you applied for uni??

Thanks 😊
