However the poor little soul didn't get a fair trial before he was killed by the imperialist so Jeremy Corbyn is probably raging and calling it a "travesty".

But seriously though, keep up the good work boys and may the Stop The War Coalition and their ilk go do one and continue to be an irrelevance.

Turkey is essentially the successor of the Byzantine Empire.

since when?
Excellent news! :woo:

Lmao how embarrassing for ISIS given that their magazine is called Dabiq, I wonder if they'll rename it
Dabiq is also the name of their a magazine so the next editions going to be kind of awkward considering that Dabiq is no longer theirs
Excellent news

There's a fairly well known quote from their original founder about burning the "crusader armies" in Dabiq. So they might keep the name for that reason.
Could this not egg them on even more? I mean they might think they will take it eventually.. Oh and they're waiting until there's only 1000 Jihadis I think too

Q: What sport will ISIS members be practicing during the upcoming liberation of Mosul?

A: The 100 meter Daesh

People need to start realising that taking over a city =/= continuing the religious or cultural legacy of something

Okay, JohnGreek.

It wasn't just "taking over a city"; the Eastern Roman Empire (as they were called at the time) were no more after that. The Ottomans then inherited many things from the Byzantines, from their political setup to the design of their mosques (which resembled the churches of the time).
