Do I need to register again for UCAS?

Hi

I applied for 2016 entry and was put in clearing. Taking a gap year and reapplying. Do I need to register again to UCAS 2017? I would just do it however if you have more than one account then there can be problems.

Thanks

Yes, you just start again afresh.

Does this mean I have to fill everything in again :frown:. Also I read about something calling self-plagrisation so do I need to do my Personal statement from scratch or how much do I need to change apart from removing irrelevant information and talking about what I am doing in my gap year
Yes you have to fill it all in again.

You wont be flagged as plagiarising if you reuse your own PS content from previous years (but make sure you didn't share it anywhere publicly).
Yes, it does mean filling it all in again. You can reuse your ps and it will come up as plagiarised, but it will be matched up with your old one and there won't be a problem. I'd revamp it, though. You're a year older and wiser now.
