Universities that offer lower entry requirements?

Hey!

I was wondering if people could tell me the universities that offer schemes that would lower the entry requirement, providing you complete what they ask for.

I know of
UOB - Access 2 Birmingham
Newcastle - PARTNERs program
Leeds - Access 2 Leeds

Anymore?

That's just a few for you. The majority of universities do have policies on contextual data/widening participation and will often reduce the offer if you meet the criteria. The best thing for you to do will be to look at university websites on the admissions pages to see what they say- just because they don't have a named scheme (e.g. Partners at Newcastle) doesn't mean they don't reduce offers.

I think Manchester has one but thats only for the people who live in Manchester!

Ohh okay i never knew
I did the access to Southampton scheme, it was quite a lot of effort and you only get the reduced offer if you put it as your firm choice. In hindsight it wasn't worth it but if you are probably going to get around BBB then it may be worth a shot.

I just checked and yeah, the applications for 2017 entry are closed.
