Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Law v. Sociology + Criminology?

Hiya,

I'm just about to send off my UCAS app. So far, I have five choices:
York
Loughborough
Portsmouth
Plymouth
Aberystwyth.

For York, my current course choice is LLB Law. However, for a role in the police, would Criminology (combined honours) be more suitable, especially considering my personal statement is very much geared towards social science?

I'm currently doing my first year of criminology and sociology and so I would probablies say yes, criminology would be more suitable. Wait till other people comment though because there might be a better option and I don't want to convince you to take up a course that might not help you.
