Question for private accommodation next year

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows how to look for private accommodation for next year, I am just looking to find how much each specific area in brighton will cost to live in, so i can plan accordingly.

Thanks.

As someone who has this year graduated from sussex - I can tell you, look at reviews of the letting agents because Brighton agents are notorious for being shoddy scam artists.

I know a lot of people who have had extensive problems with MTM, myself included. If you take any advice from me, I would say be wary of them. You might strike lucky, but most people I know who dealt with them have less than favourable stories to tell.

The best place to start looking is on rightmove students. Find some people to live with you know, or ask at Bramber house to go and visit the Accomodation people as they can give you access to a website to find people if you get direly stuck because others will be in the same situation if yo ucant find anyone else to live with.

I'd honestly say this is a little bit early, most house searches really start around Jan, so i'd be putting the feelers out now in regards of who you might want to live with, but I wouldnt bother looking until you get back after Christmas. That said, dont hang about - if you want a four bed or anything more than that house in a nice area, get on it ASAP after the xmas hols. Get it buttoned up and dont be leaving it till like April to start looking. I rented 2 different houses and we started looking after christmas in Jan, and got nice places both times and were signed up sorted by end of Feb / Start of march.

Best areas are Lewes road, London Road, and Coombe Road. Elm grove area is a MAJOR HILL / HIKE SO MAKE SURE IF YOU DO RENT YOU'RE NEAR THE BOTTOM. Hanover is a bit out the way too so I wouldnt really bother there either.
As a general idea what's the rough going rate for a bills included place per person?
Thanks
