Which bus to get from the train station to get to Newcastle Uni?

Which bus do I get from the main train station to get to NCL university?

Also how long would it take if I walked?

I will arrive in NCL at 8:15am and need to be at the university for 8:45am.

Edit: It appears there is a metro rail system available too.

Thanks.

You could get the Metro to Haymarket and it's about a 2min walk from there but its only about a 10/15min walk from central station and its fairly well signposted.

How much does it cost on the Metro?

£1.60 for a single or you could get a day ticket for £2.70 if you plan on getting the metro back to the train station later in the day.

Theres a Quayside bus that I believe stops right outside the train station and will take you to the Haymarket. Newcastle Uni is right across the road from it, cant miss it

Actually they've maybe changed it :/ There are buses available from Central station though. But as someone has said, its only 10/15 mins walk.
Just walk, it doesn't take long at all.
