Hey guys!

And when they ask you to "describe an experiment you could do to find out......." you should use CORMS
Compare - Rang of value (independent variable)
Orgasm - species/size/age/sex...(controlled variable)
Replication - More than one reading
Measure - mass/ length/ units (dependent variable)
Same - temperature/ light intensity/ water (controlled variable)
THIS QUESTION COMES FOR 6 MARKS!

Hope it'll help

You have to orgasm when describing an experiment?

Chemistry IGCSE's easy ... it's the Biology I'm worried about.

BTW there is a thread for Chemistry IGCSE discussion.

yeah I agree, as long as you understand the concepts you are basically set.

Yes I have actually. How do you feel about this year's exam?
Anyone have the papers on the IGCSE Biology site? Website seems to be down - Many people must be doing last minute revision
What were last year's grade boundaries for Biology?

I'm feeling pretty confident because I did quite a lot of revision for my mocks and they ask the same questions every year so they are easy to predict. How about you?

Can I just ask a technical question?

For these IGCSE exams, what do we draw in pencil and what in pen? Do we draw graphs in pencil or pen, for example?

yes graphs in pencil, everything else in pen. good luck!

Same here; the exam tends to be more theory based, you do not need to really apply your knowledge to everyday situations like Biology and Physics-thus it is much easier for me.

Did revision for my mocks; got well above A*; confident enough.

How about you?
Would just like to point out that in the specification no mention is made of actually memorising the production of beer.

The student book.. just gave a bit of extra info..

Instead all we need to know is the role of yeast in the production of beer
