I'm not an Oxbridge applicant but perhaps you might want to focus on your exams and getting the grades before you get too ahead of yourselves?

It's all too easy to get carried away with the prospect of Oxbridge and then mess up the exams! I like to have something to work for though. It gives me a great boost to think that I'm working to try and get into a university in a place that i love!

Hopeful Physical Natsci! Not entirely sure on the college yet, although I have a short-list of Clare, Caius, Jesus and Pembroke at the moment I'll be at the open day on the 3rd though, so that I can choose between them! I can't wait to actually visit Cambridge - it looks so amazing.
Also I really do need to start think about writing my PS - that's the bit which I'm most worried about. Also some of the questions on the SAQ need a fair bit of thought.
Anyway, this thread has motivated me to get off of my extended revision break. See you all later!

If I don't flunk too much come summer, hoping to apply for Econ at Emmanuel. :] So many prospective economists here...

I applied for deferred entry Classics at Newnham, and has gots an offer (don't know how, but not going to question it!). If any Classicists want to know anything about the application/ inty process feel free to PM.

This is too early and just panics me further.

I may be taking a gap year and applying next year however as I've been doing no revision that's unlikely to happen.

Anyone want to do maths at Trinity? I chose it cos it's old, large and not too expensive (originally going for St John's before I saw the average weekly rent).

Heh, guess it's still early days. Still, doesn't feel like it's only 6 months before the applications start.

I thought SAQ was just info aobout you, what kind of questions will they ask?
