Why are Russians so crazy?

That vid made me feel actually sick, especially where he climbed up the brick patterns on the side of the building. I used to climb some pretty ridiculous stuff as a kid (nothing that crazy) and it just reminds of that feeling you get near the top that actually trying to go back down isn't really a viable option anymore. :frown:

I'd probably walk out on that crane though, but I wouldn't ****ing hang from it! The thing is, I know that crane is stable as **** and you only have to walk and you've got something to hang on to.

Yeah, I'd expect some swaying. I used to climb really tall as ****, but skinny, pine trees back in the day. They swayed all over the place. Obviously, it's a different story compared to crane like that! I dunno if I'd actually do that tbh.

Here's what I wrote in the last belt thread.

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?p=35804179
--------------------

I have tried 3 different belts. They are as follows:

Cheap ass Pullum sports tapered belt:
http://www.pullum-sports.co.uk/accessories/weightlifting-belts/weightlifting-non-padded-belt/prod_380.html
Cheap and cheerful, did the job. Nowhere near as good as the non-tapered, more expensive belts I've tried.

Zulu single prong:
http://www.zuluglove.com/powerlifting-belt--zulu-defcon---royal-blue-12-p.asp
You can't actually get that one any more but this is the new version:
http://www.zuluglove.com/powerlifting-belt--defcon-evolution-2-powerlifting-belt---royal-blue-27-p.asp
The one I own is really good and I can#t see any reason to think that the new version would not be equally good. Really high quality, didn't need breaking in.

And finally a cheapish SS health foods lever belt:
http://www.sshealthfoods.com/pages.php?page=lt.fitnessgear&details=1354
Only bought it because it was cheap for a lever belt and I wanted to try a lever belt. Didn't like it at first, needed breaking in whereas my Zulu did not. Not as high quality either, started getting fraying pretty much immediately (only cosmetic damage like, but still irksome). I do like the lever mechanism though.

So yeah ... I'd recommend either the Zulu or the SS lever.

Thanks for the info.

Hey. has anyone else noticed that when you build muscle you fatigue alot quicker when doing ordinary things during the day.
Ive been building muscle for 6+ months and have good results but have recently noticed that my muscles get really tired quickly, e.g. when im showering and scrubing my body with the shower glove, i get the burning fatigue feeling like im doing a set 20+ reps in the gym to burn out. this never used to happen before when i had less muscle.
Has anyone else experianced this?
Its like building muscle is making me weaker...

This happens to me too- doesn't normally happen throughout the week (so perhaps it's because you're not resting enough?? I think you should have four-five days rest for each muscle group) but for instance today, having done a hard workout, I found it really tiring just holding up the hair-dryer after having a shower!!
