Top Unis for Management

I am looking to take management course at uni, but want to know the top unis for it? I am a top student (got 11a* aiming for straight A's/a* at a level) so want a good uni! Also A GOOD NIGHTLIFE IS A MUST! as often people say warwicks is awful. I would prefer my management degree to have more economics than business when choosing my course options?THANKS:biggrin:

11A* and As at AS and you're in a very good position tbh, regardless of how competitive E&M is !

go for manchester
good city, good uni the business department is great and you can specialize your degree in an area you want which is better than just management
and since you want economics they have an international business economics specialism

I think it's definitely exaggerated, I've been out clubbing in London and have met people studying at LSE! I'm sure there is some truth to the matter though.

Oxford Econ & Management is definitely a major one, otherwise try Cambridge Economics and then study Management studies as part II of your course (triposes or something?).

You could also look at pure Econ courses and then do a masters in management afterwards? If so UCL would be a safe bet. (My friend studying there calls it the University of Clubbing London )

I hear Aston has a higher employment rate than Oxford.....

They have a huge business school
Business & Management
International BM
Economics and management
international economics and management
just to name a few all with a compulsory placement year I am about to graduate and have loved my time here
night life is amazing 10 minute drive from broad street cheap everything you could want!

If you factored into the employment rate the desired occupations of most Oxford E&M grads- investment banking, asset management, sales&trading or management consulting, then it'd probably tip Oxford's way.

That being said, Aston is great

very true, but there are many other areas. I specialise in IT and have got two massive IT companies on my CV couldn't have asked for anything better
