Most Boring A Level????

I've never studied Citizenship. But General Studies basically you learn how people should conserve their space such as why is it wrong to build houses beautiful surroundings... What it means to be powerful (as in how what's fair and what's not like government controlling minimum wages). (All this yr)

I honestly can't even remember what the exam was on last yr.

It is boring! And sixth form makes every student do it at AS and A2 :frown:

But I refused to go to lessons cause I said it was just too **** and teachers who teach it aren't even social sciences teachers. They are other non-specialists like D&T and Music teachers :s-smilie:

I know this is an old post but the thread is still going. Calculus was one of the greatest discoveries in the history of mankind. Modern A level students can follow in the footsteps of three of the greatest minds in history. And you think it is boring ?

Hahaha! I feel the exact same way about english literature... oh my goooosh I hate it will passion only a month in! And that's coming from a straight A* english lit gcse student :frown:

I love philosophy it's amazing if you're a deep thinker, I personally think it's great for more introverted people

History I love which was expected but I understand how it can be terribly boring for those who dont enjoy it and didn't love it at Gcse.

Government and politics... almost fell asleep just typing it. That's only because I don't have much political knowledge yet so can't join in as much as others.

I just wish I had taken science subjects and maths too but it's so hard to choose a levels when you're at the same level for every subject D:

I have that problem in my GCSE French class.

In lessons, I've ended up getting in loads of trouble from being so utterly bored that I've started playing up, or from falling asleep. I've also had meltdowns when people don't understand it :/ This is someone who wants to be a French teacher...

The weird thing is that I did my French oral-
In the GCSE I got an A.
In the AS (I'm doing my AS and GCSE both in Year 11), I got an A*.

That was weird.

I find it easy, and sometimes I enjoy it, but generally I find it dull and don't understand why I must memorise all of these verbs and word classes :s-smilie:
