Experiment: What grades do you predict for yourself?

I thought this would be interesting to try. I think it would be intriguing to see how accurately we can predict our grades. (I.E. what YOU think after having sat the exam.)

Try this format:

AS 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
A2 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
Extended Project' Predicted grade (TBC)
IB HL 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
IB SL 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
Pre-U 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
etc...

If you're really unsure for a subject, put a question mark, and if you're really, really stuck between two grades, put a forwards slash.

And then come back and edit the 'TBC' on results day to fill in your actual grade! This could be useful for future years and, I hope, it'll be a good way of processing our post-exam angst...

If you'd like to go into more detail...

AS 'Subject name' Predicted grade (TBC)
'Unit 1/F321/FREN1*' Predicted grade (TBC)

*Go for however you think people would usually recognise the unit.

In all fairness, this is what I hope to get! I'm just so glad I had good AS results...it really took the pressure off a bit this year. Although I'm really worried in case I don't get an A* in French or Spanish. :frown:

Me too! Also, if I say I've got a grade in something and I really got much lower...I'll be a bit embarrassed :s-smilie:

I'm so glad I've finished maths. Given how stressful the C4 exam was that would have been the one I'd be really stressing about...

Edit: now that grade boundaries are released, this seems even more likely.

Edit2: yeah, I was a little off... Right number though!

I need AAB for my firm, so I am on the borderline of it :/ I'm really hoping that I got an A in my Geography, as I needed a C in the final exam for an A, but felt like I messed up, and I hope for an A in Biology as I think i needed around a mid B - low A for an A, and I found the final exam quite weird, but generally OK :smile:

There was a post a while ago on here, where everyone voted for their least favourite (read: most hated) exam board.

I asked the question on Facebook, and there was an odd pattern. If one did OCR biology, one voted for OCR...

I did this last year in one of my geeky spreadsheets! For some subjects they were really close! Languages not so much... :wink:
