I have an extra contact hour this year because I am doing a geography module which has a 2 hour lecture. gah.

Anyway, this coming year I have 6 lectures a week (yay!), 3 problems classes, and I'll be expected to put around 20 hours per week in on my lab project in labs and doing data analysis.

Also, I might end up spending a weekend at a particle accellerator. Which is MUCH less exciting than it sounds, and will basically involve me sitting up all night making sure that the experiement my demonstrator and I are running doesnt break.

However, I may get a paper out with my name on it. Thus making me amazing.

oh deary me, next yr I have 9 lectures a week + 1.5hrs of computer workshop + 1 tutorial and 9 hrs of labs a week + extra floating workshops

We didn't have any double length lectures in 1st year! Damn them tricking us into an easy life then into 2nd year and BAM hit us with the 2hr lectures

I used to have 3 consecutive lectures in the same hall.

My ass tended to go numb halfway through the second, and by the time we'd got into the third I'd usually given up and was playing an A4 size game of squares.

That said, this triple bill was after formal nights, and I once had to dash out midway through the second lecture to do the worst vomit ever. I hate when hangovers catch you unawares.
