I see, but Freeza was a cold blooded monster that toutured for fun... Cell was an android build buy DR Gero to kill Goku....

My favourite fight was Goku vs demon king Piccolo....

All I remember about Dragonball Z is that when Freiza says "5 minutes" he means "10 episodes".

True but Cell was badass, especially in perfect form.

Plus the fight between him and Gohan was amazing.

Time is different in the DBZ universe then with us, I mean remember when Frieza was killed by Trunks... That looked like 20 seconds but it was really like 5....

I've never actually watched the DBZ anime :moon:

However for my birthday I got all of the manga which it is based on :borat:

The only bad thing about that is I'll miss the awesome Ginyu force theme :ahee:

Freeza is quite possibly my favourite anime villain/antagonist, even when compared to those outside the Dragon Ball series, whereas conversely, I've never been particularly keen on Cell, so it's undoubtably the former for me.

Similarly, the Namek arc and Goku's battle with Freeza is probably my favourite. Aside from Goku's first encounter with Vegeta, it was the first major battle in DBZ, with the first appearance of the Super Saiyan. It was just an amazing fight, especially with the whole planet crumbling around them. The subsequent arcs that followed were rather repetitive and didn't match up to the tenacity of the Namek one, in my opinion.

Anyone seen the abridged version by TemaFourStar? It's epic :ahee:

I didn't like Cell so much mainly because he lacked the power and might of a true villain at the beginning and never really embeded fear into us. I love the music when Mystic Gohan arrives to Fight Super Buu and he's like ' So hotshot you want to fight Majin buu? ' Gohan : 'Fighht you? No I want to kill you'

Oh dear, but I just can't give them away, I should go back to them and read them once again.
