ok people lets go through the answers, what did every1 get for the histograms question. i got 29% and 190? also was 16.a 12.7?

Ok I got 190 as well don't worry; let's hope it's not 200
Answers will come out on 19th May 2012; wait till then!
Can someone please tell me how many marks the histogram question was in total?

Your probability answer is wrong; it's not 0.75. How did you get 0.75?

7. Is the product of prime factors still alright if I wrote it as 3 x 2^2 x 5^2?
16a. How do you figure out the length of that line? I kept trying to figure it out using the circle theorems but none of them were compatible with what they were looking for. I even tried to use sin rules to no avail.
21. I used the formula for the cylinder and subtracting the volume they gave and setting it equals to the volume of the two spheres. I showed the working but I knew the radius wasn't correct so I didn't put the answer in. Would I get points for this?

I got 0.75 as well. You're supposed to add all the probabilities of that guy (forgot his name) winning, which was three branches of the probability tree diagram. You would multiply all the chances of him winning two matches (e.g. Guy wins x girl loses x guy wins plus Guy wins x Guy wins, etc.)
For the last question I wrote

volume of cylinder=volume given in question

and I substituted h=4r

Am I right???

You had to subtract the volume of the two spheres
From theoverall volume of the cylinder to find the value they gave
What did you guys do for the mean question.
Q/1,b

And the Circle with line in it. How do you get the lengths?(AC and DC i think)

What did people get for question 2 and the mean test mark question for the whole class?

17.4 i think
Original post by TaranC
q.16 was find the length of ab or something, using the cosine rule. for the angles question (15) i put 32 and 116

its 32 and 122
