as chem mass spec m/z

Am I right in thinking that a stronger the magnetic field will cause ions with a low m/z value to be deflected MORE <<<<is this statement correct

i.e. if you've got a strong field and a low MASS TO CHARGE RATIO there will be MORE DEFLEECTION

high mass to charge ratio less deflection (cos smaller masses are deflected more, and higher charges are delected more)
