Hey hopefully am ready. Tonight i'm just going to go over everything and then learn off the answers to some of the past papers i.e blast furnace. I think that organic and blast furnace, electrolysis will definitely come up. I hope we don't have to draw those stupid organic diagrams.
Hopefully it won't be too bad? *fingers crossed*
I still have a lot to go over though! :bored:

I am almost 100% sure Avogadro's Law is going to come up so make sure you learn it.
Good luck folks
^ On the double award paper? :s-smilie: It doesn't say on the spec though..

p.s. Good luck everyone :smile::smile:
How'd you find it? :s-smilie: I'm having mixed emotions tbh :L

Sorry I forgot not everybody is doing full Chemistry GCSE, hope your exam went well. There were a few random questions in mine about the effects alcohol on the body and advantages of plastic bottles over glass ones. But I think it went well ...

Was the reaction exothermic because the sodium "melted"?

I hope so! i said that too! ha

For the one about the advantages of plastic bottles over glass bottles I said that they break less easily and don't shatter. What did you put?

i said that the sharp edges in glass were more dangerous :///////// so yeah i messed that up:L:L

so since both hard water and organic came up, does that mean that they DEFINITELY will not come up on the next paper???
and what else won't come up cos i cant remember??? ha

I am pretty sure you will get the mark for sharp edges.
For the next paper you don't need to revise the Periodic table, Atomic structure and bonding, Water and Organic chemistry. Therefore you are left with having to revise...
1. Acids,bases and salts,
2. Electrolysis,
3. Quantitative chemistry,
4. Rate of reaction,
5. Non-metals,
6. Chemical change
7. Rocks and materials.

I am not sure about Metals and their compounds and whether it is counted as having come up today or not so I would revise that too.
What paper did you folks do because I cannot remember a question on Sodium or plastic bottles. Now i'm scared. :frown: Did you do triple award?
Did anybody do double award how did you find it?
Reply 16
Yes I do triple award.
Ok NB I thought I had missed out a page nearly died.
Random but what did yous write for the Mendeleev question?
There was 2.

for the first one

1. Atomic number not Ram.
2. left spaces.
3. No noble gases

then for the second one. (can barely remember)

1. not as many elements?
2. arranged in Ram not atomic number.
3. can't remember

What did you think of the Iron one that was kinda hardish and I wasn't expecting that because its rarely asked.
