you know you're a french student after youve had a few drinks and then you pretend to be french to the new people you meet :wink:
Singing songs in other languages, watching crap movies just because its in swedish, german or italian.

Buying books in other languages even though you still don't understand half of whats written.

Talking to your boyfriend in swedish and going red because you think you sound foolish

And its all worth it when you see his eyes light up even if you say 'lets go to the shops' in his language.

Randomly adding "ja aber" and "en fait" while speaking English.
When you learn a word and realise it's a cognate or a calque or a loan-word and you're like OMG! this is like that word in _________ that is SO COOL.
