After visiting Southampton I really was put-off, the city seems really boring, and very dilapidated... also there was no community feel.. quite disappointed ):

I felt the same way but friends have told me it's great once you're actually there, so worth a shot I figured.

Checked out UCL last year, its going to be an unpleasant shock when you do get there.

What do you mean? I've already been there and I loved it, far more than Southampton! What makes you say that?

I absolutely hated it, felt it was cramped and compact. The rock room was major small. ALTHOUGH the professors were pretty grand although I did have a 40 min interview...

Just got an offer last night (sent off about 3 weeks ago) for International Relations at AAB. Genuinely surprised seeing as my academics are just about adequate to the requirements, maybe they just liked my PS or something...I may firm Southampton, it depends on whether or not I get an offer from Exeter.
