Why do you think that?
Love them personally, can really imagine wearing the first to work and the second to dates or bars.

Plus the first is incredibly cheap for a 100% linen blazer

This is true. Seen a lot of guys wearing puffer jackets and joggers or even sports running tights under a long t-shirt and Nike Air Max's. Looks proper good if you ask me.
