Charming accent! So cute

It felt like I was listening to a Harry Potter character!
Haha same! And you sound so funny, btw. As in the things you say "I'm not drunk" hah

Not ashamed! I've just been looking in my mess of a desktop for an audio recording...here is an interview I did earlier this earlier with a grad student. It's kind of long...

EDIT: It's not letting me upload the audio. Alternatives?

Hah actually, I have clips of me singing, but not of me speaking, lol.

Maybe upload them onto a file sharing site and then link us?

Thanks guys! Found a link ahead of you.

Here it is, I apologize for the background noise, I'll try to add a better one sometime in the future. I have a tendency to talk to my rats...maybe I'll do that.

haha thanks :colondollar: Not as elegant as yours, but eh, it will have to do.

yeah, in my lab  they have the cutest squeak when I pick them up. They tend to be very antsy and jumpy when they don't know you, so I have to spend the first couple weeks talking to them so they can become familiarized with my voice :h: Then it becomes such a habit that I start talking to them all the time. If I get a chance tomorrow in lab, I'll record our conversation: rat and human united.

Need to bring this thread back to tattoos...

You should try to get some sleep  and I need to work, sigh...:colonhash:

I'll ask my PI if I can take a picture of the rats  Being research and all, info is always kept hush-hush until published, but I'll see what I can do!

I tried the tongue twister (here), but excuse the hoarseness of my voice. :erm:

In terms of the tattoo FAQ, there's been good stuff from souldoubt and ironandwine, as well as some useful input from others. Anyone else can still add stuff. Will quote everyone again (:sorry:) and assimilate it into one post for people to look through, probably tomorrow.
this is the best thing :h:

i missed out on so many lulz :frown:
