You would be better off looking at university prospectuses to see what their offers and entrance requirements are. For what candidates scored will (in 99% of cases) be that of which the offer was at minimum (some may obviously exceed the offer). And the subject choices they take in most cases will be Biology and Chemistry to A2 along with 2 other subjects, one of which may sometimes be dropped after the AS year.

As for the course difficulty, it depends on how you assess difficulty. In most cases, medicine (1st year anyway) is not conceptually challenging but there is an immense volume of information to be understood and integrated together - which is what makes the course challenging.
