I did Edexcel and used these fantastic revision ibooks. They totally saved my life. (I ended up with straight A's in all six chem exams even though my teacher told me that I would never be able to finish AS after my first term at college).

For AS: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/book/as-chemistry/id906056276?mt=11

For A2: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/book/chemistry/id894402542?mt=11

I was especially hopeless at organic and so this one with just all of it in one place really worked for me.

Good luck!

Go to "course notes archive" on the left of the screen, some nice pdf's.

This is an excellent resource for learning to understand molecular symmetry (point groups, symmetry operations, et cetera). It has animated views of lots of different sorts of molecules, and animated symmetry operations. It's good for people who have trouble visualising 3 dimensional manipulation and symmetry, which is an essential skill for understanding advanced bonding and related aspects.
Welp, my first post

My current chemistry teacher introduced us to this channel. It is very useful for GCSE students for Chemistry in particular.

I'm very sorry if it has already been mentioned.
Hey guys! I've started a new blog series where I'm planning to post a few revision notes that'll help you get those extra pesky marks! Here's the first one! http://akbithoe.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/aqa-as-chemistry-revision-notes-1.html
Excellent Resources at same place

*IMPORTANT*Hi everyone! I'm actually in my first year of university now but thought I would post all of my resources from my A levels last year. There are 1000s of resources including notes, practice questions and answers etc. for A2 Biology, Chemistry and Maths. There were far too many to upload them individually so I uploaded them to a google drive so if you follow the link below it will take you to them! I found TSR so helpful when I was doing my A Levels and found other peoples notes to be useful so I thought I would reciprocate the favour and upload mine! They aren't exam board specific so I hope they're helpful (although I did do OCR-Bio, Edexcel- Chem and Maths).Enjoy!https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5eZEYkqM9hmUTFod25kMm1WN28&usp=sharing
follow me back if I followed you guys I have information to tell all of you guys:smile:
Hi guys, here is a question ( question 2) http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/C...1_s08_qp_5.pdf i have been trying to solve the entire day. It is about determining x in hydrous salt. Now what i did was plot mass of basic carbonate (y axis) against number of moles of carbonate (i.e (mass of CuO/(2 x 79.5)) I wrote this considering the molar ratio of CuO and basic carbonate. And so the gradient of graph would give mass/mol= Mr of hydrous salt. So i did this but the mark scheme ( http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/C...1_s08_ms_5.pdf ) says ignore any ref to moles. So idk, even if i plot mass of CuO against basic carbonate mass or reverse or in anyway as shown in the mark scheme as shown below, how do i calculate the value of x? can somebody please help me, while considering any of the option out of those given like how can we plot the graph/Please help asap
