You probably heard "ah, nice, ey" i think the words sound the same on purpose because edexcel hate you.

I agree with that.

While you have over-simplified a little, I understand your viewpoint and think it is fair. I would just like to point out that the 5 minutes reading time couldn't be skipped, though.

There's not much else I can really say because this is a problem you're identifying which has nothing to do with my centre or I. This is Edexcel's responsibility. No rules have been broken and it's all within the guidelines, so all I can really say is that it's unfortunate you didn't share the same circumstances as mine.

I meant reading time after repeats (between questions) and the period after the last extract has been played (~ 5 minutes), but I understand that none of this is within your power.

Apart from another person who claimed that the teacher examined the transcript and stated that it was Nice.

Our exam papers were taken in 7 minutes before the full time was up, this is time on top of the pauses that you have available to rewind etc. People with computers were very advantaged

You are meant to have that extra time, so it was unfair you didn't get it. But still, having the papers for 7 minutes isn't going to be that helpful as it only takes a couple of minutes to check, and make sure you've put a tick in every box. It's only useful if you can listen to certain questions again.

Thanks, I'm glad you understand. I feel like everyone thinks I'm the big enemy here. :colondollar:

I genuinely believe it was Annecy as there weren't 3 options that would fit with Nice.

I put Nice, and the options that I put were: Lots of museums, good restaurants(a guess) and things to do in the evening.

I thought that they said the hotels in Annecy were too expensive, and so were the restaurants?

They were expensive, but the man said 'mange bien' or something like that so I presumed it meant they could eat well by having good foor there...

Yep, but how would you go about doing it? They wouldn't care. The only people who care are the newspapers who try to make our education is really bad and unfair. I doubt that they would really care about an onscreen test though, as it isn't as bad as those teacher seminars. But those things together are a pretty unfair situation. The fact that private schools tend to use these onscreen tests as they have the facilities to do so could also raise some key questions about the fairness of the whole thing too.

Those- I think - are all correct (apart from the Nice debacle that I'm not including in the statement). I'm not sure about part i) for the hypermarché question. I'm convinced she said 'Ça me fait de mauvaise humeur.' I may be wrong.

N.B. I got Annecy - Good restaurants, plenty of activities in the evening, and many sports facilities.

Does anyone remember the questions?! Because some of the answers don't help without a reminder of the questions.

I personally found it VERY hard. Much harder than all the past papers. But that may be because the sound yesterday wasn't very good. Headphones would help a LOT. Rewinding would've too.
