Ah yeah thats not too bad then, is Bristol really as good as its reputation suggests for a night out? I'm sure the Bath student will be a pretty good place to start out and apparently the halls parties are good as well so I'm sure we won't be short on places to socialise!

Thats true, whats the full title of your course...or is it just BSc Psychology?
Have you heard anything from Bath yet? :P

Yep, It's just BSc Psychology, Sandwich  yours? Well, I haven't but hope They'll don't send anything by post, I'm leaving the country until September. I need to escape this weather, it just makes me really blue... I wonder how you English people get used to it. It's quite admirable actually

When you draw the curtains and turn up the heating you can pretend. Also, steam summer sale, so it's summer.

Ah right, a sandwich course, that explains everything! I'm presuming your placement is a complete year out? The full title of mine is Social Work and Applied Social Studies (including Placement). Leaving the country as in the UK or...? Presuming you mean here, as our weather is generally shocking really....
Is anyone in langton house? or knows anyone who is? or can tell me how to find out? I live around 4 hours away from bath and i got my address at which i'll be living in bath yesterday and it made me so excited to move there in september! i'm doing drama and english literature so it would be great to hear from any potential course/flat mates! so excited to move down there!

I have received my CAS but only after contacting the school. They had saved the wrong e-mail for me. Maybe you should call and find out if there is a problem.

Not doing your course, but you share my initials (and first name!) and I'm quite into sport myself, so hello!

Does it? Well then:smile:
Yes, the placement should be 10 months long and you can either stay in UK or go abroad. Is yours full year too?
I'm leaving England for Czech Republic. However I think that since the moment I set foot in England I'm cursed with bad weather. Last week there were 40 degrees in CZ, but now it's 20ish and raining. Lucky me

Ah nice! Nah i am coming off the back of a BTEC Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science, which I have completed and already know my grades so I am 95% sure I will be a Bath student come Sept/Oct! :banana2:
I presume you have done A levels, are you fairly confident in getting the grades?

Haha yes, my course isn't a sandwich course. I do my placements spread across the three years. So I think its a term in the first year and then 2 terms for the second and third years placement.

Ah right, nah England's just constantly bad, we are meant to have summer but we don't necessarily have sun! Lucky you indeed!

Nope actually I'm in a pretty similar position to you. I did a BTEC in Health and Social Care and finished a year ago. I applied to Bath this last year and got an unconditional so you could pretty much say I'll definitely be there come September :woo:. You're the first BTEC student I've spoke to, most people are mature or A level students on here. So glad I'm not doing A levels though, I'd hate to sweat out on the results!
