Mr M for question 18 I got the correct answer but just had a load of random numbers and squiggles so no working out, how many marks do you think I would get?

I found that Paper pretty hard how did everyone else find it?

Found this paper quite difficult.. any idea of the topics for the calc exam on thurs? The 'prediction' pixl paper for this one was so wrong!

For question 6, I put centre 0, but not 0,0 and I wrote everything else correctly. Would I still get full marks for this question?

I put 620 for the estimation question rather than 600 (rounded to 31 rather than 30)

How many marks would i get for this out of 3? 2?

Mr M, is that the correct answer for that question?.. dont you do 12x12= 144... 6^2xtt = 36TT(in terms of pie)
and then 144-36= 108, then 108/4 because there are 4 corners and then doesnt this give you the answer for the 1 corner? I asked my maths teacher that question after the exam and he said i done it the correct way? can you please confirm that these stages i done are right or wrong.. and how much marks i would have got for the question, thank you.

On 2a) I got 81, is that close enough to 84?

For 6) I wrote "Scale factor 2.5 about the origin" would that get the marks?

For 28a) i got "-3b + a" is that the same? Will i get the marks?

the 6^2 is actually being multiplied by pi. 36 comes from dividing 144 but I'm not too sure where the pi but comes from.

There was an equilateral triangle between the 2 Pattern A tiles. So 360-60 = 300
300/2 =150.
So the exterior angle is 30 because it must add up to 180
360/30 =12 as the exterior angles add up to 360.
So 12 vertices= 12 sides.

For question 18 how did you get 12 sides?

I got 6 sides as I thought that tile B was an equilateral triangle ??

But is it not 12 x 12 = 144. 6 x 6 = 36. And I didn't do this but aren't you supposed to do 144 - 36 = 108, then 108/4 gives you the area of one shaded corner?
