Heyyy u guys im from Nigeria, and im going 2 be taking my exams to get into some British boarding skuls next week! Like i've studieddd some but i really dont knw UK history i know americann...so yeah if any1 can help me out and tell me some of the things i would need to know it would be really helpful!! It would help to know what area of History your boarding school would cover.
Because British History at A level and GCSE covers 1200-present.
And then you have to consider the types of History (Economic, Social, Political for example)

They probably won't expect you to have a thorough knowledge of British history seeing as you're not from there. They're probably looking more to see whether you have the skills that you need to study history which you would if you've studied American history.

Although I would make sure that you know the obvious
i.e WW1 was 1914-1918 and did NOT involve Hitler (although he did fight in it, but that's not significant)
and WW2 was 1939-1945 and DID involve Hitler
