Hi there chelsea,
here is the link you require:
http://www.sunderland.ac.uk/internat...road-exchange/
The nightlife is good in Sunderland, but alot better in Newcastle (only a quick, 25 minute, bus journey away). The area has a number of educational facililities, including 4 Universities in relatively close proximity. Therefore, the lifestyle, especially in Newcastle, is student orientated.
Typical Expenses:
Rent: £50-80/week
Bills: £10/week
Food: £15/week
Transport: £5/week
Around £100/week basic, then budgeting for nights out (£25 cheap- if you're drinking, upto £50). Theres plenty of things to do and see. Just search for things to do in Newcastle upon tyne (or Sunderland, or Durham, or North East), England.
So budget about £125/week: about £1500/semester would be cheap.
hope that's helped.

Default international student at University of Sunderland, exchange program?
Hi all. I am a Canadian, currently enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley. I am very interested in doing an exchange to the University of Sunderland next year, which is an exchange partner with my school. I have an appointment on Wednesday with an advisor, but I am really curious right now as to if anyone knows what the agreement between Sunderland and it's partner exchange program schools are? Or what the conditions usually are between exchange program schools?
also, anything about living costs (what to include when budgeting?), nightlife, things to do, the school itself, etc.. let me know! thanks
