heya

If any1 is doing shelley for engli lit aqa, i wanted to swap revision notes and ideas!

my teacher has given us 11 main themes (in questions) which may come up and 2 themes that could but not likely! im findin quotes for each theme and thinkin of ideas!

the themes are

• 
  role of imagination
  power of imagination
  theme of change
  possitive approach to human behaviour
  disgust for englisg society
  political events
  theme of revolution
  role of poetry and poet
  typical Romanic poet
  natural imagery
  personal feelings
  hopefuly vision

and the 2 others are religion and love.

of any1 has anything to swap and want to bounce idea of one another quote me or e-mail me. so far i have done "hopeful vision".

im doing Shelley too and as it was becoming an uphill struggle so i came on here recently and found a thread posted from people who were doing the exam last year, some really helpful notes on the poems :

tbh ur prob right about the themes!
lol my teacher just got my some questions to help us wiv how they will be shown in the exam, i jyst highlighted the main themes in each question....
ill check the website now tho! thanks

yeh i will still swap revision stuff... ive been makin my way thru the questions i got.... not lyk answerin them or anything... just thinkin of linkin quotes.... want me to type up the questions onto here and swap some ideas?

basicaally, im kinda stuck on love, well ive picked out the peoms i think id use...
epipsychidion - human love/women/emilia viviani
Adonais - liike admirational love? friendship?
Hymn to intellectual beauty/Ode to the west wind - love of nature

so that i can make a point about the different ways Shelley expressed love...but then i guess you would maybe wanna mention the love for his art? and how poets want to be appreciated, so maybe an exhortation.. hmm not sure

but basically, im kinda struggling with the poetic form/structure/style of the poems and i reckon thats what will let me down, so if you had any good notes on that for any of them id be very grateful!

also, do you have any good notes on epipsychidion?

I will gladly return the favour for any poems you want notes on
