Hi, I'm just wondering if you knew if it would be possible for me to ask the school to do an AS/A2 in Politics. I think there are teachers who would teach it (sociology etc).
I want to do Politics at uni, and doing it at AS/A2 just seems an obvious option.

Yeah, you could always ask. Might not be likely that they will teach it though. Certainly you could enquire about resources and tutoring for self-teaching. Good luck.

The best thing to do is to ask the school, also see if you can gather a group of others who are interested... they might want a min. number to run the course. If not you could always consider self-teaching and just asking them to enter you... I dunno how plausible this would be with this particular subject.
