Jesus, how hard is it to understand the A* criteria?!

- 80% overall in AS and A2
- 90% average for the 2 A2 units (or if it's maths just C3/4)

So to the OP, as long as your A2 applied unit wasn't like a U or something you will of got an A*

Basically you need an A Grade overall at A Level.

If you have achieved a 90% average between Core 3 and Core 4 i.e 180/200 UMS or above in C3+C4, then you will get an A* grade.
Yes, overall you must have an A plus anaverage of 90 in C3 and C4. I got 95 and 100 respectively and as long as my college isn't gay and cashes them in this year i will have an a star in A level maths. Feeling pretty good.

According to what's been posted, you need enough marks to get an A overall for the whole A-level including A2.

So you can afford to get a high B in AS if you can make up for it at A2.
