Durham or UCL for LLM law ?

Hello people ! I'm new here and I desperately need an advice from u guys here.

I am an international student from Thailand which I got a LLB law degree there. I got an offer for LLM law course from Warwick, Bristol, SOAS, Durham and UCL. I cut down the choice to only Durham and UCL. Now I'm so blank that I can't choose whether to go to Durham or UCL.

So I need an advice about where should I go for my LLM study and what are the pros and cons of those universities.

Any advice on this matter would be much grateful.

I would go for UCL. Its ranked much higher than Durham in the Uni rankin systems. However, if u want an Oxbridge styled colelgiate system, go to Durham. Both have excellent reputations. However, UCL is known to be stronger in Law. This website might help: http://education.guardian.co.uk/universityguide2004/table/0,14557,1217063,00.html

I don't know much about the LLM, only the LLB... so I couldn't really tell you which course is better

But remember in UCL you'll be in London, right in the middle of all the legal stuff: Royal Courts of Justice, Inns of Court, etc
Although if you want to see penguins and polar bears, go to durham.

If you want a seriously hardcore education, go to UCL.

Only disadvantage is it's more expensive to live in London than the North Pole.
