MA Social Work research proposal/dissertation

Hi there. You thought I'd never show?

Here's the lowdown.

In a nutshell I'm struggling, badly, to come up with a dissertation area/topic. I suppose if I do have favoured research areas, they'd be in the areas of mental health and homelessness. My first placement was at a homelessness charity. It was a fascinating placement and my knowledge of drugz and mental health increased 3-fold. These areas interest me and so something that interests me, would motivate me to go and do a dissertation. Totally logical I reckon?

Could anyone point me in the direction of possible research areas/ideas? I'm struggling to brainstorm. I have googled and what-not, and if anyone on TSR is on a course similar to my own, bring your ideas to the table. It'd be much appreciated. Aid me in my brainstorm. Normally I offer sexual favours in return for advice but in terms of social work values, this wouldn't sit comfortably with yours truly :rolleyes:
