Well by the sounds of it I can, I hope I can anyways (although obviously hope I don't need to), it's not really made things much clearer (thanks anyhow),

I have a book to take back to my geography teacher so I'll ask him when I take it back, see what he says
    You're welcome.

I am plannig to resit some units too after A2 geography. I want to resit GGB4 for sure, and maybe GGB5. I returned my book already, and I need to get it back to revise for my resit in jan 2006. However, I'm not sure if GGB5 and other subjects that have synoptics allow resits in jan 2006.

By the way, if you see my GGB4 question prediction chart, I would update that ASAP, so you or other people can predict them.

Updated, if you haven't got it, want me to post it up etc. just ask, I don't think there's much point in posting it now as it'll just get lost in all the posts/ people who might find it useful probably won't see it.

There's probably no point in trying to revise for GGB4 now anyways, you may as well enjoy your summer and start revising september maybe later, specially as you're taking a gap. BTW you should probably get thephilip allan book for unit 4, it is really useful

That's true. I might update it in jan or june 2006, as people will sit it that time.

I'm planning to resit it so I might study over christmas and resit GGB4 in jan 2006. If I am planning to resit GGB5, I hope I can sit it in january too. By the way, that unit 4 book you recommended is great. I think they could make one for every unit (i.e units 1-4) I got that Phillip Allan geography revision guide.

Yes, but I'm not sure there'd be any point because I saw someone on this thread say that unless you decline your grade and resit all 3 modules, it won't change your AS grade, the marks would just go towards your final A-level grade. I always thought you could resit just one module and it would change your AS grade as long as you declined it, so it would be good if someone could clear that up.

What do you mean? Do you mean how many UMS to get a certain grade?

There used to be a limit but they stopped it... A few re takes are OK but you don't want to do loads and loads of them because universities don't like it...
