It wasn't his choice. I'm sure he'd have preferred to remain black.
But alot of people belived (and still do) that he wanted to, probably would have been less stressful for him

I always find it funny when people make comments like that, whilst all the time forgetting that noone else has actually had the global success that he had/has. How can you be more successful when you are the most successful.(Original post by meskell)
So yes he would still have been as succesful, and due to a non-freakyness if he had stayed black he probably would of been even more succesful.
