Should I take Business AS level?

I want to take Business AS level but I didn't take it during my O levels. I've been told that I missed out a lot since AS Business is the continuation of Business GSCE. So, can I get A or B in business even though I didn't took it earlier? I actually never studied it before and this time would be my first. What do you recommend? :erm:
I know people who didnt take business studies to gcse, but then started for as and got A's

its possible, work hard and go for it
I took business for AS last year without doing it for GCSE and i got an A :smile:
i think it is actually worse if you have done GCSE business to then go on and do A-level because there is a massive overlap from GCSE to AS-level and if it were me then i would find the lessons really boring because you would have been taught a lot of it already at GCSE.
My school's pretty strict about having to take many subjects at GCSE if you want to do it at A level, but it allows you to do business without a GCSE.
