Can my English teacher do this?????

In my English Literature AS exam I got a B, but because I did badly in my coursework my grade overall was C.

Today I asked my English lit teacher if I could please redo my coursework so I can bring my overall grade up to a B. She then said that she would have to see if she thinks it's actually worth it and possible for me to get a higher grade than what I originally did in my coursework the first time round and if there's going to be enough time amongst the A2 coursework and stuff we have to do this year.

But I really want to bring my grade up and so I really want to re-do my AS coursework!!

Grrrr, shouldn't it be my choice whether I retake my coursework or not?????? :mad:

They do sometimes do this but if you really want to then you have to insist and tell her your grades are at stake. Wait to she what she says first but if it's a no then you gotta be persuasive. She doesn't want to waste her time re-marking...etc.
