Studying at US uni aswell as UK uni?

I'm finishing my degree this year, and really hope I get a good grade at the end of it. For a while I have been thinking about studying at a US university aswell.

My current degree is Forensic Science, and I'd want to do a degree in the US of the similar subject. I know they have a different legal/forensic system over there, but it would be good to learn about both.

I'm looking at the course in the John Jay College, as this is the leading US uni in Forensic Science.



Would you recommend doing both courses? And What do they expect you to have? Is this education overkill?

Also has anyone do this themselves?

Isn't doing that just gonna land you with double or more the amount of debt a normal student has, won't one degree be enough to land a career? You should research successful people in that field of work and see what their educational background was like, i'm pretty sure it's kind of a waste of time and money to study more or less the same thing over?
