Pre-Medicine Courses

Hey,

I'm in year 12 and eventually wish to study medicine at university. I was wondering, however, has anyone ever been on one of the following courses before:

If you have, I pose some questions...

- Are they worth the money?
- Were they interesting (did you learn from them)?
- Can they help you at all get into a medical school?
- And generally, your experience about each...

Thanks!
Been to something similar to Medlink. No, it's not worth the money. Putting it on your PS only shows you have money. You can learn everything that Medlink (or similar) will tell you simply from your own research and a bit of ploughing through TSR.

- Are they worth the money? No
- Were they interesting (did you learn from them)? back in a "omg I sooo wanna study medicine and save the world" naive pre pre prefresher kind of way. Not compared to real work experience
- Can they help you at all get into a medical school? not really, no
- And generally, your experience about each... Go if you want to make a few friends and have more money than sense, otherwise dont bother
