Were the AR questions similiar to the questions in the 600 Ukcats book in terms of difficulty??

The QR really confused me as I didn't finish all the questions but still ended up 720. I think luck was probs on my side.

I didn't do the website questions but I did the ones in that 600 Questions book. I think they were about the same difficulty as the ones in the book but I was resorted to guessing for many of them cos of the time limit. Just don't stare at them blankly for 5 minutes like i did and wonder why the time went
    When are you doing it?
Congratulations on your score, it's great! Ah right, I have that book actually but haven't looked at it yet! Thanks for the advice :p: Mine isn't until August so I have some time left to practise.

Lol seeing as you're curious I got...

    VR - 590
    QR - 720
    AR - 630
    DA - 750

which is an average of 672.5 I think.
    I'm pretty happy
you've done good on AR ....was the difficulty the same as in 600 UKCAT book:redface:

Does Anybody Know If We Are Provided With Any Paper Or Writing Tools In The Ukcat Exam As It Would Be Helpful With Qr And Decision Analysis

Q: Do we have anything to write on?
A: Yes. You will be given a double sided whiteboard with a special pen to write with. There is usually no eraser available so taking some tissues with you might be useful.
Please read the first post before asking questions as the answer may already be there!

I doubt they'd find out if you copied it onto here for help.

But if you're worried, you can link us to it or something?

I have that book, but haven't looked at it yet :p:
I'm finding all sections except DA very hard, which doesn't bode well to be honest.
Edit: 2nd September is ageeeeeees away, you shouldn't be worrying about it now!

I reckon you should piece, its hard, but theres loads of qs for practise
I really really really wish that it was the other way round and the majority of med schools wanted BMAT

I will, I'll start on that book tomorrow!
Gosh no, I hate the look of the BMAT, I'm glad I don't want to apply to any universities that want it. For me, it would be an even bigger fail than the UKCAT!

I'm not too sure, it's not anything in particular. The questions (in particular the essay) look very hard, and I suppose I'm just too lazy to revise for one more thing in order to get into medical school. Plus, I've never really fancied the look of any of the universities that need the BMAT so I don't want to do it.

yeah i agree clad in armour, i prefer the look of BMAT too. at least only a section of it is aptitude! grrr ukcat irritates me. in bmat i can cope with the science and the essays. im kind of keeping BMAT as a backup since only a few unis do it. im setting my ukcat on september 19th and if i fail it miserably (which right now is looking like a good possibility ) i can always study hard for BMAT in the next month (ha i think i overestimate my abilities sometimes)
